A HIGH-END ILLUMINATED STORE SIGN THAT FITS INTO A MASS-PRODUCTION BUDGET: Dossier Creative came to 3DS to create a true specialty signage program for their client, Vancouver-based Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. They brought their logo to us, looking for something that was like a huge, solid, polished metal belt buckle, yet was lightweight, cost-effective, thin and environmentally responsible. 3DS gave them an elegantly-crafted and very modern solution. Starting with a cast plastic sign base, we used high-end LED lighting to create all the illumination they needed, at a fraction of the cost and complexity. Plus, LED lighting is safer, easy to ship to the company’s many locations, simple to install and uses far less power than conventional illuminated outdoor signage. The signs have a slimmer profile and are much lighter than standard electric signs. Since they first came to us, we’ve made so many of these store signs, we almost can’t remember how long they’ve been our client.
