A FIRST NATIONS ART EXHIBIT, IN A REAL ESTATE PRESENTATION CENTRE: Works by Squamish Artist Klatle-Bhi are showcased in this First Nations-themed real estate presentation centre, located in a Whistler Village storefront. The works are featured in a space with a modern, yet comfortably rustic-feeing, “old meets new” style. Recycled timbers and other sustainable materials are used extensively in this First Nations exhibit. Warm, largely ambient lighting is used throughout, with glowing banners and other dramatic lighting effects. The art works are complemented and set off against specialty fabrication, which included laser-imaged glass panels with edge lighting, for a traditional yet very contemporary effect.
